You've probably reached your 10 already, Ellie, and I'm in Canada so maybe outside your range - however, big thanks for this missive! I've read the post that your tiny book rests upon several times, and again just now; you inspire me to keep going with my own tiny book, even though I don't know anybody else who sees 'how the world really is' as I do (except possibly yourself). I was at the point of despair, really. Thanks!
I have reached the ten! But I think I'll do another giveaway with a future post, so keep your eyes peeled. Thank you so much for reading, and for your kind words -- I can't tell you how much it means to know that the essay meant something to you. Keep going with that book!
Good on you to stick with the original offer, as you intended, and taking the time to reply! We're besieged here in Canada, with Trump's empiricist agenda, so please consider seeding your work over here! Warmly, Val
Are you by chance selling copies of the little book? I would really love to have a copy of that essay available to read without a screen, it's so good.
Yes, I was going to add that I made a sticker with your quote "This moment needs your deep weirdness and your intellectual rigour" and will send it to you." But then something glitched, and that was that. I'll DM you--thanks so much!
I’d certainly be interested in The Tempest deep read. I’m called Miranda, after all, and that was very consciously a tribute to the Tempest on my father’s part. A few years ago I was lucky enough to do an MA in Shakespeare Studies based in Stratford-upon-Avon, and saw Anthony Sher star in a stunning South African-inspired production of it. It’s probably the most moving and memorable theatrical performance I’ve ever seen.
Wow, thank you for the link to your essay last year. It speaks to something I'm writing right this moment for a preface to a book I'll be releasing soon that very definitely works toward the long overdue rewriting of this crumbling consciousness contract. I'd love a hard copy, but no worries -- seems I'm already long past the 10 mark. Thank you for all you put into these essays. Looking forward to the one coming next week!
Thank you so much for reading. Your book sounds really interesting. I'll probably do another giveaway in a future post, so keep your eyes peeled. (Just staggering the giveaways so I can stagger the mailing costs!)
I'll probably do another giveaway in a future post -- just need to stagger the posting costs for the sake of my bank balance! So keep your eyes peeled xx

What an incredible essay. I'd love to have it in book form, but looks like I'm late to that party haha.
Thank you for reading! I will probably do another giveaway in a future post, so keep your eyes peeled.

Ha! That gave me a genuine chuckle.
Been thinking I might have to pop by your house for an emergency supply of Crab and Bee books, but I've just found the mystery missing box!
